Mena Alexandera Suvari, born in 1979 is an American actress, model and designer. She was born on 13 February 1979. When she was in 1990, shortly after starting her career as model, Suvari started acting in TV shows such as Boy Meets World. Her first film appearance was on 1997's drama Nowhere. Her transition into major roles with her performances on American Beauty for which she received nominations for a BAFTA Award and American Pie and American Pie, both of which gained more attention. After that, she was as a co-star in Loser (2000) alongside the American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and then played the principal role in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001). She had appearances in the independent 2002 drama Spun and the 2004 thriller feature Trauma. In addition, she was a part of HBO's drama series Six Feet Under in 2004 she received a nomination as a member of the Outstanding Cast at the 2005 Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, she included in a variety of films, including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the adaptation film of The Garden of Eden.
