Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and fashion model. He gained fame due to his roles in Road Trip he has since been featured in more than 20 feature films including The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. He also has appeared on over 22 television shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls survived Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was first diagnosed when he turned 14 years of age. His cancer was in remission within two years. Treatment at a young stage had a negative effect on the body. It hampered his development. Once he was taking on the role of an actor, financial security was his goal. He had experienced hardship in his early years. He commented, "I've been living so in a state of financial sanity for so long that I need money security or else the world can seem out of control to me." In the course of an interview the interviewer also talks about his childhood. His goal is to end the bullying. DJ says that "Cruelty breaks the heart of my heart." DJ's ideal job is play a father figure in reel as well as in actual life. He admits that Directors do not cast me in those roles. It would be wonderful to be one day the parent of his own child, at which point the time comes when he can devote much less time working and devote it to his children.
