Ann Curry
Ann Curry is an American journalist and photojournalist who has worked as a journalist for more than 45 years focused on people suffering from the aftermath of natural catastrophes and war zones. Curry has covered wars throughout the globe, and has reported on conflicts in Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo. Her father was an U.S. Navy sailor. Following World War II, her parents met while her father was serving in Japan. Due to her father's military duty, the family frequently moved. They ultimately arrived in Ashland Oregon where Curry attended the high school. She earned a journalism diploma from the University of Oregon in 1978.
